Limenaria on the south side of the island of Thassos, is a quiet haven for travelers. Limenaria is the second largest city on the island and has something for all tastes! The locals are very friendly, they will go out of their way to help you with whatever you may need. If you do not want to travel during your vacation, but want everything by your side, Limenaria is the place for you, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, patisseries, cafes, car and moped rentals, banks and much more are at a short distance from Hotel Asterias and Villa Costas.
The beach of Limenaria extends for about 3 km, from the port with the colorful fishing boats and the impressive building Palataki to Tripiti at its western end. From the back of the hill where Palataki is located there is the famous beach Metallia. There, 100 years ago, was a mining and smelting site, today it is a wonderful "different" beach with hundreds of spots and works of art to explore. Of course you can just enjoy the shallow turquoise waters and the sandy beach.
A few kilometers further east you will find Pefkari and Potos. Pefkari is one of the 7 Blue Flag beaches on the island of Thassos. Potos is known as the sleepless village and has dozens of bars and restaurants along its beach.
We are always willing to give advice and guidance to our guests and can help you arrange car rentals, excursions and other services. All you have to do is ask…
